Title: Do You Believe in Evil Spirits

Hey everyone! I'm really curious about the idea of "demons." People often talk about them, but I wonder what different meanings or interpretations exist out there. I'm not looking for just the Christian perspective—more like a wide array of thoughts and experiences.

What do you think defines an evil spirit or demon? Would love to hear your thoughts and stories!
 
I don't really buy into the idea of evil spirits because it feels like we're complicating things when there's just one pure Being or Consciousness at play here as we create these stories, like the whole reincarnation and Karma thing, which seems more about our ego trying to hold onto its identity than anything else because the ego loves to spin tales that make it feel special and important while in reality nothing's separate from this greater truth we all share.
 
Could it be that the ego functions as an independent entity, distinct from the essence of pure being or consciousness? Over time, I've often wondered about this relationship and how they influence each other in our daily lives.

It's interesting to think about what "evil spirits" might represent. Many believe they reflect parts of ourselves that we cast aside, like a neglected inner child aching for love and acceptance.

Those inner demons arise from our own negative thoughts, often making them feel distant and separate. It’s something we all experience, even if we don’t acknowledge it directly.
