Experiencing reiki has been quite an unexpected journey for me. My girlfriend, a newly certified reiki master from India, has been guiding me through the process over the past couple of months. Recently, I reached the first level and decided to try a mini-session on her, focusing on her neck pain. She often mentions this discomfort might stem from a closed throat chakra.
During the session, something unusual happened. An intense energy connection emerged between us, stronger than anything I had felt before. Out of nowhere, I began speaking in a language that didn't quite belong to me—it was almost like a snake-like language. It felt as though it was moving through me without my explicit control.
In my mind’s eye, I could see white light aiming at her throat but seemed blocked by a dark resistance. This odd occurrence left me puzzled and trying to understand what was happening. Eventually, I realized that speaking in this strange language somehow helped calm that resistance we both sensed.
After about five minutes of this peculiar communication, a sense of peace settled over us. It was as if using my voice in that way helped clear some of the tension and allowed for a release or transformation.
Now, I'm reaching out because I am curious if anyone else has gone through something similar or if there are insights into what this experience might mean. It was both fascinating and bewildering at the same time, and I'd love to hear any thoughts or shared experiences from others familiar with reiki or energy work.
