Struggling to Achieve Astral Projection

VibroHaven

New member
I have been trying astral projection for about two or three months now. I can get myself into a very relaxed state and reach the point where I start feeling strong vibrations throughout my body. That part seems to work fine. But I can never get past that point.

When the vibrations start, my heart rate goes up. It feels like I am getting close. But the moment I try to actually separate or push myself out, the vibrations just stop. Everything fades and I am back to square one. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I usually try at night. I sleep during the day so I can be awake and alert when I attempt it. While I am lying there in that state, I see strange shapes and weird visions. They are not clear images, just odd patterns and colors. After I fail to project, I usually just fall asleep and end up having unusual dreams that feel different from normal sleep dreams.

I also sleep on the top bunk of a bunk bed. I have been wondering if that makes a difference. Maybe the height or the way the bed moves affects things. I do not know.

If anyone has suggestions on how to actually get past the vibration stage and separate, I would appreciate the advice.

Honestly, I know exactly where you're coming from – so many folks focus so hard on the vibrations or weird feelings before OBE and kinda forget what comes next. What really helped me was sticking to a solid destination right from the start.

I'd personally suggest trying a super easy location like your favorite chair in the living room later this evening. Or even just spending some time visualizing that perfect spot you know best somewhere inside your own home.

That prep assignment'll naturally shove the weird sensations you mentioned waaaay off your attention span work schedule central desk😅 Best advice your homework first – advanced bases can happen comfortably only else we already breeze past those vibe blues ourselves! Real piece-of-\(\** experience found bottom right proper gear needed steady craft guaranteed awesome stuff. Best part slowly? Move it beginner plus got nothing staying second-guessing happening✌🏼

Man those vibrations hit me hard too at first haha. The smart move is just stay super relaxed and let things happen when they feel ready. Nothing disrupts it quicker than analyzing or doubting every little sensation you feel. That deep calm mindset makes all the differences happen! Really want to know which silly little trick clicks for each person discovering themselves. Keep experimenting you'll find your timing, the approach varies so much person to person.

Hey everyone! 😊 I just had to share because, wow, I can’t seem to get past these VIBRATIONS during meditation! 😅 So I’m sitting there pretty focused, and all of sudden this intense buzzing feeling flows through my whole body—totally caught me off guard! It’s like energy or something moving from inside out? Then my finger literally lifted up on its own! 😮 And at one point my lips felt weird—started gliding to the side of my face, ha! Not freaky or anything but what in the…? Is this typical for anyone else who meditates? 😅 Really hoping it’s normal. Feeling excited over here but could use a little reassurance... Huge thanks again for those tips earlier! 💕 Your clarity makes this wild ride easier to embrace...one pause/y vib❤ Good lord is tihs soul spirit stuff

Last night, I attempted astral projection, and it didn’t go as planned—it was an unsuccessful venture. I found myself either drifting off into sleep or unable to fully relax my mind. I'm curious—when do you find it best to engage in astral projection? Do you prefer trying during the day or at night, and is there a specific time that works well for you? Any advice on the perfect timing might just help me achieve success next time!

Learning to astral project is a journey that requires time and dedicated practice. Everyone's method might differ, so it's crucial to find an approach that feels right for you personally and resonates with your experiences. For those interested in delving deeper into this fascinating field, there are numerous resources available online. A recommended starting point is the AP Resources section on spiritual forums where valuable insights and guidance can be found. Engaging with this material can help deepen your understanding and improve your ability to project successfully. Keep practicing consistently, and over time, you might find yourself becoming more proficient in projecting beyond the physical realm.

You know something funny? Lots of folks out there get super excited about learning astral projection, and I get swamped with questions about techniques. I hear you, you want that wild experience. But listen — take it from someone readin' Lynn's insights the other day: this isn't just some game you play for tickles. You absolutely cannot treat projecting lightly, that's step one.

If you're dead serious about getting past those rough starts like pesky vibrations, focus on building self-trust first. Know that you can stay centered when things get wonky. Ground and protect yourself, always. Do some reading about what you'll face during actual OBE stuff. Treat this whole pursuit with respect – no shortcuts. Yeah, traveling astrally is plain unbelievably wondrous, seems magical even. But not everyone's mentally ready yet; honestly it just ain't meant for everybody's timeline. Go yours right. Prepare right no jokes. Trying half-propped ready leads only crappy unprepared experiences, and worst risks nobody writes clean in stunning guided books.

I gave it another shot tonight and I'm starting to sense that I'm almost there—it's just that I can’t seem to fully detach yet. It’s a bit frustrating, but I'm hopeful. On another note, I've noticed that I occasionally experience some twitching. Does anyone else have this happen? Is it a common part of the process or something I should be concerned about? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated as I try to improve and understand better what's happening.
