Seeing flashes of light: is it my spirit guides?

I keep seeing flashes of light from the corner of my eye. It’s been happening a lot lately, and I can’t help but feel like it’s something more than just my eyes playing tricks on me. The light is usually white, but sometimes it’s a different color, like a soft blue or green. It’s always fleeting—there and gone before I can really focus on it. At first, it startled me, but now I’ve learned to calm myself quickly and just observe.

I’ve been trying to connect with my spirit guides lately, asking them to visit me in my dreams. I read somewhere that this is a good way to open up communication, and I’m really hoping it’s working. I’m not entirely sure what it means, but the fact that it’s happening so often makes me think I’m on the right track. I’m curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or knows what these flashes of light might signify. Could it be a sign from my guides? I’m excited to explore this further and see where it leads!

I don't know if they are spirit guides or something quite different.
I started out with flashes out of the corner of my eyes,, just like you, they disappeared when focused upon them.
These flashes have, in my case,increased in both size and frequency. I now see .....perceive........ much larger shapes even shadows of human shape and proportions.
I can propose several theories, but like you I am puzzled.
My medical training suggests high blood pressure or diabetes but in my case , I have completely ruled that out.

I’ve been experiencing flashes of light in my peripheral vision for a while now. They come in different shapes and sizes, with blue and white being the most common colors. Red flashes are rare—I’ve only seen them three times. These flashes disappear when I look directly at them, which is why I’ve started paying more attention to my surroundings without focusing too much. I believe the small spots of light represent the energy around me, while the larger flashes might be spirit guides trying to communicate. Sometimes, I also notice orbs or streaks of light, which I interpret as other forms of energy or spiritual presence.

Hey everyone! I've noticed flashes of light too. For me, it's a purple orb that I believe is my animal guide. My son sees bright white streaks, and my daughter spotted a fast-moving silver orb. These aren't just peripheral glances; we see them straight on. It's comforting to know we're not alone.

I keep seeing flashes of light from the corner of my eye, and honestly, it’s been a wild ride figuring out what’s going on. My kids have always talked about their "invisible friends" or guides, and at first, I just thought it was cute—something kids do. But then I started noticing some pretty weird stuff too. My son would point out these bright white streaks of light zipping around the room, and he’d tell me, "Mom, that’s one of my guides!" I had no idea what he was talking about, but then I had this vision one day that confirmed exactly what he was saying. It was wild!

My kids have drawn pictures of these guides and even described them in detail. My son apparently has something called "auric sight," which means he can see different types of energies. He told me once about a purple orb that was following us, and sure enough, I saw it too! He said it was an animal guide. My daughter swears she has a silver orb that’s one of her fae friends or something. I’ve even had friends who are mediums confirm some of these descriptions, which is both shocking and comforting.

The craziest part? Both of my kids share a guide that shows them information like it’s on a little handheld screen. They’ll just stare off into space and start telling me random facts or stories about these guides. It’s like they’re getting downloads or something. I’m so grateful that other people have helped me understand what’s going on here. I had zero knowledge about any of this until my kids started sharing their experiences, and now it’s like this whole new world has opened up for us. It’s been a journey, but I’m so thankful for the love and guidance these little ones bring into our lives!

I too ave zero knowledge of these orbs. I have however seen footage and read accounts of these orbs being Ghosts or associated with ghosts.
In My humble opinion I suggest that these orbs are souls.
I base this hypothesis as the reason behind my avatar.
During a deep meditation I saw myself to something very close to my present avatar.
My orb was larger than my dogs' who was sleeping on my lap a the time.
Scared the hell out of my dog when I tried to speak to his orb/soul.
