Why do we burden ourselves with labels and pigeon holes?
It gives us a sense of belonging and security for sure, but do we really need to “belong” to any group or ideology??
Do not labels and pigeon holes put walls around us? To belong to a group you must adhere to the it’s philosophies and conventions.
Every person in earth is a unique individual’ yet we fetter ourselves to a label.
In Ayurveda ,Traditional Chinese medicine and Humoral medicine, a person is acknowledged to be made up of 5 elements, no one is one ever in just one category but a complicated combination of all elements in varying amounts. Each persons makeup is unique.
I find myself in a quandary with all these labels.
I have talked to ghosts, but am not a medium, which conjurers the expectation of seances and talking to the departed.
I practise telepathy but do not speak mentally or hear some one speak in my mind as is expected.
I have made some predictions, all of which have come true. The events occurred , my interpretation of the impending events however…?????
These are but few examples, the metaphysical is as large as man himself.
We all have our strength and weaknesses and abilities, can we not celebrate and accept our uniqueness without imposing boundaries and limitations that labels and pigeon holes demand????
