I start by saying that this is the beginning of a series of threads in which I narrate my abilities and how they manifest.
I offer no explanations, nor do I care to justify, or argue the validity of the ESP phenomena . Mine are very real and very personal experiences, that I share in the hope that they might inspire more people to share their experiences and come to terms with this phenomena.
Divining
I was introduced to Divining in the 70's by an old gentleman. He showed me how to divine and challenged me to try it. He not only taught me mechanics of diving but instilled in me to trust the process. He used a forked stick which was wondrous to see. The stick bent half way and point to the ground. I have never had such a spectacular result. My days of using forked stick are over after having obtained numerous wounds in the palm of my hands as a result of the stick twisting.
I now use 2 "L" shaped heavyish metal rods. ( For use when wind is an issue)
I have had lots of success locating water pipes and water bores.
Divining is not confined to just finding water, all manner of things can be found. This entails having a sample of what ever you seek in your hand, preferably touching the divining rod.
I was in Emerald central Qld looking for sapphires. Finding a spot to dig untouched, so far, is not easy, even in such a vast area.
I borrowed a sapphire ring and set off diving along a dirt road.
A grader has just graded the road, so I tried my luck thinking if there are still sapphires to be found a road would have to be the least disturbed site.
It did not take long before I found a sizeable piece of carborundum. Well it may yet prove to be a dark star sapphire yet. I did find a few more smaller sapphires which faceted nicely.
One thing I have not yet determined is the distance from me to the object I seek. So far I think it depends on the object itself. Maybe it's composition?
