How do you reveal psychic abilitie to others?

We all have psychic abilities but can we reveal them to others?
Should we??
What about the ridicule we invariably get?
I found telling people of my psychic experiences, what people see are the impossible fantasies portrayed by Hollywood, not the experiences I portray.
There are definite barriers to perception we need to overcome..
How do we do this???

perhaps psychic abilities stem from psychological patterns or chance not mystical forces revealing them might amplify confirmation bias over critical insight let's ponder evidence calmly before sharing

I have found great difficulty trying to "come out" to atheists, agnostics and most religions.
The agnostics and atheists being the most militant, I have found. They cannot accept natural abilities for steadfast dogmatic reasons
The religions condemn and suppress the metaphysical as work of devils and demons, while their masses and ceremonies all embrace the metaphysical.
As I age, I am driven to share the wisdom gained, as yet I have not been able to find, apart from few specific forums, to share experiences with and learn.

I have used the patience and serene way with my son, although he acknowledges the abilities, I think he fears them.
This I believe, is the main barrier to acceptance

It is hard for someone who has never known any metaphysical experiences to imagine them. Media portray them as something mysterious malevolent and miraculous which is far from the truth.

The original sciences, astrology, astronomy, alchemy and biology etc which included physical and spiritual laws from which the so called science sprang from?? OR
This modern science that is designed for particular mechanistic studies which is adequate the physical but lacks any tools to investigate metaphysical and spiritual matters.
I agree we need to include the spiritual into science as cultures right across the globe have done for aeons.
We are entering a new age where, hopefully,old misconceptions and falsehoods with give way to a humanity that accepts that the physical and metaphysical as being a completely natural part of the human conditions . (as it always has been)
 
Revealing Psychic abilities is compound in difficulty for several reasons.
1) The scientific method ;This is a materialistic testing tool and researcher. Psychics cannot be judged by these standards.
2) Psychic abilities vary with each person on earth. No two people display identical abilities in the same way.
3) Psychic abilities are difficult to quantify. EG. there are unlimited variations of E.S.P alone.
What is needed is a "differential scientific" method that can test and encompass the myriad variations.
I have had some abilities all my life, to me they are as natural as waking in the mornings, but I still do not know how to approach people.
I am like an observer of society, never quite part of it. Some people fear my abilities, other ridicule them, still others see me as being a charlatan , delusional, antisocial and not "one of us"
I cannot believe I am unique in the world, I hope not.
