Feeling Hugs During Sleep Paralysis

I think I'm being hugged in my sleep.

So, I’ve had sleep paralysis before, and honestly, it’s super scary. It usually happens when I’m stressed or feeling down. Your body is paralyzed, and you can’t move or speak, but your mind is wide awake. It’s like being trapped in a nightmare you can’t wake up from.

Recently, I had a nap, and something weird happened. It felt kind of like sleep paralysis, but this time, I didn’t feel scared or threatened. Instead, I felt like something was pushing me, pulling me, and even taunting me. It was like someone had their arms wrapped tightly around me. It was creepy, but not in a terrifying way.

I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m wondering—could this be some kind of spirit guide or angel trying to connect? It’s weird, but I feel like maybe it’s trying to tell me something. I’m still confused, but it’s definitely different from my past experiences. 😴

Have you ever felt embraced by a spiritual presence? At times, simply sensing its nearness can create a comforting emotional connection. I've experienced such moments where just the presence of spirit wraps me in warmth and peace, almost like a gentle hug from an unseen friend.

When you mentioned the hug was at your waist level, it really struck me as something a child might do. Did it feel that way to you? Otherwise, an average-sized spirit would have to adopt an awkward (and slightly unsettling) posture to achieve that!

I’ve been experiencing some strange things during sleep lately. Sometimes it feels like I’m being hugged or pressed down, and I can’t move. I’ve heard this might be linked to something called entity harassment. Honestly, it’s a bit unsettling, but I don’t think it’s a major issue.

I’ve tried a few things to deal with it. One remedy I’ve heard about is placing a small container of salt under the bed or where I nap. It’s supposed to help repel negative energies. I’m not sure if it works, but it’s worth a try.

What did help for me was dimming the lights in my bedroom. I think the blue light from my phone or other devices might have been affecting my sleep. Since I started keeping things darker, the disturbances have been less frequent. It’s been a small but positive change.
