Oh, this is so intriguing! I totally get what you mean about spreads.

I often stick to the three-card spread too. It's just straightforward, and I love how it keeps things clear. The Celtic Cross? Yeah, that one does my head in!

I’m curious if anyone out there has found a perfect combo of spreads that works for them. Mixing it up can be refreshing, right? Can't wait to hear more about everyone's go-to choices and experiences with different spreads!

A three-card spread
for the curious,
past, present,
and future outlined.

When questions arise,
a question and answer spread—
one card for the situation,
two paths unfolding.

Personal time?
Three cards or maybe five—
a glimpse into today.

In readings, they linger,
inviting whispers of possibilities.
Each shuffle holds a choice,
a dance of fate and intuition.

Reversals—those little surprises in a reading.

I always thought they were just some quirky part of the deck,

but they have this way of flipping things upside down.

Take a strong male figure—how easy it is to see him as dominant.

But throw in a reversal, and suddenly, his power shifts.
He’s supportive instead,
offering strength without the weight of control.

I’ve had moments like that,
where a card turned the tables on my expectations.

What a revelation!

It reminds me that every story has layers,
and how sometimes we need to look from another angle—
to truly grasp the whole picture.

So next time you're reading,
don’t shy away from those reversals.
They might just whisper something deeper.

Lovely!!

Do you all read reversals when you do tarot? I don't! I find that it does my head in a bit. Instead, I look at the surrounding cards to get the full story.

For example, if the Ace of Cups shows up with the 5 of Pentacles, it’s about shifting focus away from lack and being open to love. But if that Ace stands alone, it's all about knowing romance is right there!

What about you? How do you approach this?

Hey everyone,

Big shoutout to noresman!

It's refreshing to see a guide that welcomes beginners.

The three-card spread? A breeze!

But those interpretations?

Like moving mountains, it feels.

Sometimes, I can spin stories—
captivating, imaginative tales.

Yet, I wonder,
how do I know if I'm on the mark?

Is there a way to tell if
my stories resonate with the reader?

Would love your thoughts!
