Finding a dead crow in my living room was unsettling. Its dark feathers, once a symbol of life and energy, now lay still. Friends gathered around me to discuss what it might mean. Many cultures see crows as messengers of change. They remind us that endings often lead to new beginnings. But the interpretation is deeply personal, like an old book waiting for fresh eyes.

Yet, even within this conversation, something shifted in my friendship with my closest companion. As we talked about what the crow could symbolize, our unease surfaced. Over time, our bond frayed in ways that had been bubbling beneath the surface long before that unfortunate encounter.

This experience taught me about the nature of signs and events in life. Each moment carries a whisper of wisdom but should be embraced gently. Instead of forcing meaning upon every incident, perhaps it’s best to let experiences resonate over time. The lessons may reveal themselves when the heart is ready to listen.

Life unfolds quietly and sometimes painfully, yet within those moments lies an invitation for reflection and growth. We may find new paths in the shadows of what is lost.
