After my heart returned to somewhat normal, I forced myself to sit up and see if anything was actually there. Naturally, it was just me in bed, but the whole thing was a mix of surreal and confusing. For some reason, he seemed like he was pointing southwest towards Colorado from where I live in Wisconsin. It’s weird thinking about whether this direction has any real significance or if it's just my imagination running wild.
