Are Green Witches the Same as Hedge Witches?

I'm reaching out because I'm a bit confused and could use some help. I practice as an Eclectic Witch and usually do things on my own. I'm all about respecting Mother Earth and feeling blessed by nature. One way I show this is through gardening—it's kind of like my special gift back to the Earth.

I mix in a bit of Wiccan and Pagan traditions, but mostly just trust my gut. Lately, I've been puzzled about what exactly makes a Hedge Witch different from a Green Witch, or even nature-based spirituality in general.

Is there really a big difference? And if I call what I do nature-based spirituality, is that okay—or could it upset anyone? I'd love some guidance to clear up this confusion.

Thanks so much for any insights! Bright Blessings to everyone! 🌿✨

Illustrates the distinction succinctly. Hedge Witches engage with nature in the wild hedgerows and countryside, whereas Green Witches immerse themselves in gardening, cultivating their spiritual practices amidst cultivated plants and herbs. Both have their roots in nature, but their environments differ significantly.
