Hey everyone, so I’m a Libra woman, and I’ve been with my Gemini man for 31 years now. I know some people say Libra and Gemini are a match made in heaven, but let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’ve always been the one to keep things balanced at home, you know, making sure everything runs smoothly. I'm a Libra woman with quite a bit of Gemini male experience. My dad for one was a Gemini. Not a romantic relationship of course, but I believe definitely impacts perceptions of relationships growing up seeing his example. My dad and I actually had a wonderful relationship, so this wasn't a negative thing at all. The only bad part was the fact that I lost him too soon at the age of 13 to cancer. The other significant Gemini male relationship I've had in my life is my twin flame. I met him when I was 14, not long after my dad passed. That was a long time ago and needless to say it's been decades of back and forth, on and off, like most twin flame dynamics. I can relate to much of what both of you have already said. It can be fun, light weight, lots of laughs, always something interesting happening, but there can also be drama and chaos. I was always the one having to keep the balance in things. He's not one much to be into spirituality and if anything has a Peter Pan complex (one of the big reasons we are not together).

As for the astrology behind it, I agree I wouldn't get hung up on the sun sign part of it. The sun sign is really just our energy levels anyway, and with both Libra and Gemini being air signs that just basically means the energy levels are compatible and work nicely together. Since we are our entire birth charts I personally think other placements might be more helpful to look at in terms of seeing the synastry in the connection, like one another's moon signs (your emotional worlds), Venus signs (how you love and receive love), mars signs (how you enjoy and express yourself sexually), etc. And of course where those signs sit in what houses, and so on. Even so, you could analyze a synastry chart between the two of you and it could reflect a relationship that's easy going and go with the flow, or one that's more challenging that requires a lot of work. In either case, free will, choice, and both parties willing and wanting to work and commit to one another will outweigh whatever the chart says. We're co-creators with the universe. We always have a say whether we want our relationships to be a slice of heaven or a part of hell.
