🙄 REIKI SYMBOLS 🙄

The Choku Rei symbol is the first Reiki symbol and is super powerful. It’s all about empowering, cleansing, and protecting. Some people even see the seven Chakras in it, which is pretty cool. I’ve used it during my Reiki sessions, and it always feels like a boost of energy. Have you ever worked with Choku Rei? What’s your experience been like? I’d love to hear about it!

I’ve always been curious about Reiki symbols and their meanings, but honestly, I never thought much about their connection to chakras. For me, Reiki is more about the energy and the intention behind it. I use two main symbols in my practice—one for when I’m working with someone in person, and another for distance healing. These symbols feel like powerful tools that help me channel the life force energy from the Source to whoever needs it.

When I’m in a session, I can literally feel the energy flowing through me. Sometimes it’s so strong that I start sweating, like I’m sitting in a sauna! But it’s a good kind of heat, like my body is just a conduit for all that healing energy.

Reiki isn’t just something I do—it’s become a part of how I live. Whether I’m working with someone directly or sending energy from afar, I love how it connects me to others. Even when I’m out and about, like when I see an ambulance, I’ll take a moment to send some Reiki energy. It’s such a simple way to offer support, even from a distance.

I’ve noticed that when I’m doing Reiki, the energy flows most strongly through my palms. I think it’s because there are chakras there, right? It’s amazing how much healing can happen just through hand-to-body contact. It’s like the energy knows exactly where to go.

Reiki has taught me so much about the power of intention and energy. It’s not just a practice—it’s a way of life. And honestly, I feel so grateful to be able to share this gift with others. 😊

🙄 REIKI SYMBOLS 🙄

Wow, it’s crazy how much Reiki has evolved over the years! I remember when I first got attuned, it felt like this mysterious, almost secretive practice. Now, it’s everywhere—books, websites, workshops, you name it. Back then, the symbols were this sacred, hidden knowledge that only a few knew about. Fast forward to today, and it’s like they’re everywhere. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, but it’s definitely different.

I think the big shift happened when Diane Stein published Essential Reiki back in the 90s. Suddenly, the symbols were out there for anyone to see. Then the internet came along, and boom—Reiki exploded. People started sharing, teaching, and creating their own versions. William Rand even introduced Karuna Reiki, which added a whole new layer to the practice. It’s been wild to watch.

When I was learning, my teacher made me write the symbols over and over on paper until I could draw them perfectly from memory. Once I mastered them, we burned the papers in a little ceremony to release their energy. It felt special, like I was part of this lineage that valued the symbols deeply. But now, I see people using them casually, sometimes even combining them with other practices. It’s cool, but it’s also made me think—what did Usui really intend?

Speaking of Usui, I’ve noticed a lot of confusion about the symbols. People often think there are more than the four he originally created. But no, the others came later as Reiki branched out into different styles. It’s interesting how things have expanded, but it’s also important to remember where it all started.

For me, the heart of Reiki has always been about the energy and the intention behind it. The symbols are tools, but they’re not the magic itself—they’re just a way to focus your intent. And that’s something I think gets lost sometimes when people get too caught up in the symbols.

Still, I love seeing how Reiki has grown. It’s become so personal for people, and that’s beautiful. Some use the traditional symbols strictly, while others mix and match or even create their own. It’s all about what resonates with you.

And hey, if you’re into the science side of things, it’s wild to think about how intention ties into quantum mechanics. Like, energy responding to thought? It’s mind-blowing. Reiki might have started as this humble practice, but it’s opened doors to so much more.

Anyway, just my two cents on Reiki symbols and how far we’ve come. It’s been a ride, and I’m excited to see where it goes next. 😊

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some thoughts about Reiki symbols and how my approach has evolved over time. I remember learning about the Raku symbol from Makio Usui, which is used to kind of "shut off" the energy flow after writing symbols. It’s such a simple yet powerful tool!

One of my most memorable experiences was during my own attunement. It was done remotely, and I was lying down, trying to relax. Suddenly, I felt this strong sensation in my solar plexus—it was like a manhole cover adjusting itself! It was intense but also comforting. Then, I had this vivid vision of Makio Usui himself. He smiled and wrote some Japanese symbols in the air, welcoming me. It felt so real, like I was right there with him.

That experience really sparked my curiosity about the Japanese language. I’d love to learn more beyond just the symbols we use in Reiki. It’s amazing how these little details can deepen your connection to the practice. 😊

I absolutely love working with the Cho Ku Rei symbol in my daily Reiki practices! It’s such a powerful tool for channeling energy. I use it for healing, sealing doors and windows to keep the energy in, clearing spaces, cleaning crystals, and even preparing myself for a drive. The best part is, I don’t always need to draw it physically—some masters say just visualizing it in your mind works just as well. At first, it takes a bit of focus, but once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy. I just ask for the light from the Universal Source, and boom, the energy starts flowing. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so effective. 😊

I've found symbols from various teachings that can be incredibly effective, and one that stands out to me for its power is the Fire Serpent. Its energy is truly transformative. Another symbol that I find quite beneficial is Zonar. Both of these symbols are excellent tools for clearing and refreshing the energy in a space. From personal experience, incorporating them into my routine has significantly improved the atmosphere of my surroundings. They hold great significance and have made a noticeable difference in creating a harmonious environment.

I use Reiki symbols in my sessions, believing each has its own energy. The master symbol, I feel, enhances the flow. Still, I sometimes wonder if it's all in my mind. Yet, others have shared how supported and uplifted they feel after sessions. It's fascinating how these symbols seem to make a difference.

Having been trained in orthodox practices, I've developed an appreciation for the Tibetan master symbol. It's fascinating to consider that many, if not all, energy techniques may have their roots in these ancient teachings. Given that Usui was a Buddhist, it seems likely he was familiar with such symbols and practices. Through exploring different modalities, I've come to value how interconnected these traditions are, offering a deeper understanding of the energy work we engage with today. Each discovery reveals more about the holistic origins behind our modern practices, illustrating the profound wisdom embedded within these systems.
