Sage burning tips and guidance

Hey everyone! 😊 I just got some sage to help clear out any spirits. Has anyone done this before? Do you need a special prayer for it? Also, how long should I keep it burning?

Does it smell bad or is it okay? Would love to hear your tips! Thanks a bunch in advance for the help! 🙌

I often smudge my home with sage.

As I do this, I say a positive prayer, focusing on intentions for peace and clarity.

The scent of sage brings me comfort, filling the air with its earthy aroma.

It is important to let the smoke reach every corner of the room for true cleansing.

Spring and fall are my favorite times of the year because they mark my ritual of full house clearings. It’s like a fresh start! One of the key elements in this process is sage burning, which I find incredibly helpful for clearing out any negativity lingering in the space.

I always stick to white sage for my smudging rituals. It's essential to get the right type because some sags can actually attract spirits instead of sending negativity away! When I'm ready to smudge, I make sure to waft the smoke into every corner and up the walls while saying my prayers. It really feels like each room is receiving a much-needed cleanse.

Once the sage has worked its magic, I go through each room and speak blessings, setting positive intentions for everyone who enters. Sometimes, I’ll sprinkle small amounts of sea salt around the perimeter of my home for added protection. Sea salt has a way of boosting that protective energy!

I've also started using quartz crystals to enhance this practice. When I clean them with water and sea salt, then recharge them in sunlight, it feels like I'm preparing little shields for my space. Burying them around my home with points facing outward goes a step further in removing negativity.

These rituals keep my environment feeling light and positive, which is so important to me! If you’re interested in trying out sage burning or any of these other practices, I'd love to hear about your experiences too! 🌿✨

Curious if you're using incense sticks or cones for your relaxation time? Personally, I find that both offer unique benefits. Incense sticks often provide a longer-lasting scent, filling the room with fragrance, while cones tend to burn more intensely, creating a robust aroma.

I love the practice of burning white sage! It’s incredible how it helps clear out negativity from our spaces, including all that emotional baggage we sometimes carry around. 😊

Some people can even sense a change in the energy when they’re saging. They report seeing negativity actually leave the room, which is pretty fascinating!

And if you want to enhance the experience, using an oil diffuser with calming scents like lavender, vanilla bean, or frankincense can really elevate the atmosphere. These aromas help create a peaceful and inviting home environment that feels great to be in. So, why not give it a try? Your space deserves a good cleanse! ✨
